For those of you that have not heard we are seeing the 7 Wonders of the World for our honeymoon. In May we were married in Mexico, we were so lucky to share that big day with 100 close friends and family. While down there we went and saw Chichen Itza, wonder #1 and the first stop of many on the upcoming trip.
On October 3rd we will be departing on a trip of a lifetime. Here is a little snap shot of what's to come. First we fly to Peru, we will be spending 8 days touring around Peru with the wonder of the world being, Machu Picchu. We then fly across South America to Brazil spending 1 week around Rio De Janeiro and of course visiting the Christ Redeemer statue that overlooks Rio. From Rio we fly across the atlantic with our final destination Rome. We have rented an apartment here for 5 nights in the heart of Rome, we plan to eat as much pizza and gelato as we can, enjoy the wine and take in the sights, the Colosseum being our 4th wonder of the world. Our next stop is Egypt, although the Great Giza Pyramids are not on the new list of the 7 Wonders it is the only remaining ancient wonder of the world. In Egypt we will be hanging out in Cairo, shopping, soaking up the rich history and sun. After Egypt we fly to Jordan, one of our busier stops. We plan to visit the Dead Sea, do some canyoning, camp with the bedouins in the desert, scuba dive in the Red Sea and of course visit our 5th wonder, Petra. Once we complete our loop through Jordan we fly to India. Our primary goal here is not to get sick, which could be challenging from what we have heard. While doing that we will spend a little time touring around Delhi, and maybe take in a Bollywood show. To split up the big city of Delhi, we plan to take a train to Agra where we will spend a couple of nights and visit the famous Taj Mahal, our 6th wonder. After a short 6 days in India we head to China, where we plan to tour around beijing, take a cooking class, and possibly watch an acrobatic show. We will also spend a couple days in the country side of Beijing hiking a long the Great Wall Of China our 7th wonder of the world. Our journey is not quite over though as we plan to spend some time in Thailand on the island of Koh Tao where we will get some much earned R&R and do some scuba diving before we fly home to Calgary on November 30th.

This sounds insanely busy and fun! Can't wait to follow your adventures!
